Red Flags Rule PDF Print E-mail

The new rule is estimated by the Federal Trade Commission to apply to 11.1 million enterprises under their jurisdiction of which well over 90% are estimated to be small enterprises. 

Compliance with the The Red Flags Rule is required by November 1, 2008.  This new rule promulgated under the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003, amends the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
